Maira Valley

Maira Valley is one of the most beautiful jewels south of Monviso. Beautiful in winter, but especially in summer, when it shows all its geological, naturalistic, cultural and sports aspects.

Brec di Chambeyron

With regard to the climbing, the Castello-Provenzale group stands out: an impressive quartzistic massif situated at the bottom of the valley. On its steep faces there are many routes for all tastes, difficulties and styles. Also worth a visit is the regular (but never ordinary) Croce Provenzale.

The alpine destinations never fail. For example, the Brec di Chambeyron, a bastion of more than 3000 meters with its intrepid, and even still today, amazing regular route. Also, the Tête de l‘ Homme and the Tête de la Frema. These 3 mountains are easily connected with an overnight stay at the Bivacco Barenghi 3000 or….sleep out in the open!!!

For those who like routes with fixed ropes, the modern and sports route of Camoglieres will give intense emotions whereas the route of Oronaye will give more alpine pleasures.
